Dear Directors.
if you decide that you are going to make a sequel to any movie or a before story to a movie, then you need to get all of the same main actors/actress. This is a must, because when you do not get the same main actors it ruins the whole movie, all actors act differently and handle the same role in different ways. Therefore if you change the actors its like changing a character because they do not give the same feel as the original actor/actress or character.
Examples: The Mummy 3, Home Alone 3, and The Punisher 2.

  1. dude; that makes me so mad! i totaly agree! Actor's always add their own personal touch to ever movies they do; so if the main characters aren't the same then the whole movies just sucks!

  2. I agree to an extent. It is better when you can have the same actors, but in some situations it's just not possible (i.e. Harry Potter, you can't exactly bring Richard Harris back to life to play Dumbledore.) Unless you want to call off all sequels you HAVE to find someone new.
